OMSI Family Night! - 2025
Come Explore, Learn and Play at OMSI!
Time to get out of the classroom and into the museum for an evening of family learning fun! This exclusive event is FREE for all View Acres students and members of their household. View Acres Staff Members and their families are also invited to attend!

Holiday Food Drive
Winter break can be a challenging time for many of our families, especially those who rely on school meals to help supplement their income. As a school, we will be collecting canned food to support the Winter Giving Blitz our school district is participating in. If you are able to help out, we will be collecting the following items Dec. 9th - the 13th:
Students can bring food to drop off in the school lobby or families can drop off donations at the student drop off line.
Requested items include:
canned meats & tuna fish
canned chili, stews & beans
canned corn, green beans, mixed vegetables, ravioli / spaghetti
olives, water chestnuts, mushrooms
soups
peanut butter
cereals
rice / dry foods
tomato products
*** Please - No Glass Containers ***

Dive Into Reading!
The 4rd Annual Read-a-Thon kicks off on October 7, 2024 and continues through October 18, 2024.
The Read‑a‑thon is our first fundraiser of the year and one in which all students can participate. Our goal this time around is $10,000.
Money raised from this event supports educational activities, programs and supplies throughout the school year.
The Classroom with the most minutes will receive a special prize!

Jog-a-Thon 2024
Here Comes Summer Fun!
The Annual View Acres Jog-a-Thon will be held on May 31st., and is one of our largest, student-driven fundraisers. It is a fun way to promote health and fitness for students while raising money to pay for field trips, community events, our school garden and teacher support. Additionally, the money raised will support many classroom and school needs which are not met by the current district budget. Without these donations we would not be able to provide these wonderful enhancements to the education of our View Acres students. Our fundraising goal for this year is $10,000.

All the proceeds from the sale will go towards supplies for the school garden. Be sure to tell all your friends and neighbors about the sale too!

Throw on your glad rags and come cut a rug at the Roaring 20's Social Club! View Acres Parents and Staff will be in for a fun filled journey back in time to the era of speakeasies and flapper fashion. We’ll have trivia games, a free blackjack table, the kid’s art auction, a groovy dance floor, multiple raffles and so much more. Don’t miss out cuz this shin-dig will definitely be the cat’s meow!
